A few months back, when we found out that Hall & Oates were playing the Allen Event Center on September 10, we laughed around the office a bit, thinking it might be fun to throw a yacht rock party in their honor.

It was a stupid idea, but, as we tend to do around here, we pursued it. A couple weeks later, it was all planned: We would indeed throw a yacht rock party, and, better yet, we'd even somehow secured some Hall & Oates tickets to give away to the affair. We didn't really imagine that so many of you would get on board with the idea, though.

How many people got on stage at the end of the night to be judge in the best costume competition? Like a dozen? Something like that. Our memories are a little blurry, to be honest,

But the point remains: You guys are amazing sports and we love your dedication.
