Dr. Dog, Hayes Carll and Charles Bradley Top Just-Announced 2012 Fort Worth Music Festival Bill.
Earlier today, Spune Productions and the folks behind the Fort Worth Music Festival (nee: Jazz By The Boulevard) announced the bands playing this year's two-day, late-September offering.
Headlining this year's September 28 and 29 event in Cowtown's Camp Bowie district are indie rock favorites Dr. Dog, Houston folk troubadour Hayes Carll, Dallas psychobilly pioneer The Reverend Horton Heat, soul crooner Charles Bradley, rock stalwarts Supersuckers, Dallas soul pioneers The Relvatives and, uh, one-time Tonight Show band leader Kevin Eubanks, who, at the moment, serves as the lineup's sole nod to the event's jazz roots. Also performing at this year's event are Austin acts Soul Track Mind, The Wheeler Brothers and Sons and Fathers, and North Texas outfits Telegraph Canyon, The Orbans, Hudson Moore, Burning Hotels, Whiskey Folk Ramblers, Air Review and The Cush.
Advance two-day tickets to the event are available through August 1 for $10 right here. At that point, they'll jump to $7.50 in advance and $10 at the door per day.
