Johnny Manziel Continued His Party Across North Texas By Hitting Trees and Candlroom Last Night.
Johnny Manziel may not actually be buying a nightclub in Dallas, but he's sure helping keep a few afloat.
After having been spotted buying a $120 tequila bottle at a Fort Worth liquor store last week, the oft-troubled (sometimes hilariously so) onetime Texas A&M great and possible future Dallas Cowboys quarterback was spotted bar-hopping his way around Dallas last night.
Joining him in his revelry? Oh, just a couple actual modern-day Dallas sports heroes — Chandler Parsons of the Dallas Mavericks and Tyler Seguin of Your Dallas Stars among them.
TMZ, which has posted video it ripped from OVO woe Ryan Silverstein's Snapchat that visually confirms what we'd already heard, also reports that Dallas-dwelling New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard was in on the action too, meaning that their crew repped pros in all four major American sports. (Alas, there was no sign of local pro golf hero Jordan Spieth, who was probably too busy getting settled into his new $7 million home to reply to texts anyway.)
We can independently confirm a few additional details — namely, that the bros' night out appears to have started at Deep Ellum venue Trees, where they took in a concert from rapper and noted Seguin pal Mike Stud. Later, the action moved to Knox-Henderson area lounge Candleroom, where the crew could be seen dancing and posturing atop the booth benches that line the outer edges of the room. It was here, at the regular Mavericks hangout, where the group seems to have been joined by Parsons and his teammates Wes Matthews and Charlie Villanueva, who were out celebrating their 106-94 home overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves from earlier in the night.
Sure, a few enterprising Dallas Cowboys fans may be actively campaigning for Johnny Football to join America's Team, but it seems the pros already have the situation on lock.
