Seryn's Letting Us Tag Along On Their Tour.

MEMPHIS — It started off with us taking a few photos at the house when they picked me up. I rode up front while listening to live shows from their last tour leg along the way. Some new stuff they have been working on, too.

Pausing, replaying, and listening to them talking about how it could be better — good stuff. Listening to them talk about this hunger for new material and how they are all crystallizing on things at the same time is pretty cool. The only other music we listened to outside of Seryn was Jose Gonzalez.

We worked on making some screens of some art on T-shirts in our hotel room when we got to Memphis. We made a mess. We played lots of Chess With Friends. We ate hummus and freeze-dried veggie chips. Memphis has a good Pizza Hut.

I scored a bag of oatmeal this morning. Just gotta find hot water.

Today is a folk conference where the band will perform a showcase for a lot of people that run venues. Could be fun.
