OMG! Rusko's At The Palladium!

Feel like a kid again tonight with concerts by the bands that taught you the words “bohemian” and “copacetic” at the House of Blues and Dada, respectively. It'll be a nice reward after going on a bike ride with the folks at the Granada (don't worry, you never forget how to ride one). What you didn't know as a kid is how much more fun riding bicycles is while tipsy. Oh, and Rusko is at the Palladium tonight for anyone still not been totally beaten down by dubstep.

Dandy Warhols at House of Blues
Eight years after the release of the ill-fated indie-rock tour doc Dig!, Brian Jonestown Massacre and Dandy Warhols still seem to be following each other around. One day short of being exactly a month after BJM played at Granada Theater, the Dandys are in town tonight at the House of Blues.

Granada Bike Ride
“It's dope as fuck” one rider was heard saying at the inaugural edition of the monthly Granada Theater bike ride back in April. Round Two of the boozy bike ride circling the White Rock Lake Park is tonight. One group will be meeting up at 5:30 p.m. at The White Rock Lake Boathouse while a second will leave from Sundown at Granada at 5 p.m..

Local H at Dada
I was 11-years-old when Local H's biggest hit, “Bound for the Floor,” was released. But I'm fairly certain that I'm not the only person who added the word “copacetic” into their vocabulary after the song's massive post-grunge popularity. The duo never stopped making records, though, and their latest is due out this summer.

Rusko at The Palladium Ballroom
In the last six years, British DJ Rusko has not only been on the forefront of pushing dubstep into the mainstream, but he's pretty much been the only person who has been able to pull off the near impossible feat of finding a way to keep the much-maligned genre continuously sounding fresh.
