Old Hickory Will Give You Some Wood At Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.
We like to pride ourselves on being able to find things to do every single night of the week. Like we always say, Dallas has something for everyone to do — if they just know where to look.
And even on slower nights like tonight, we're reminded of the great weekly events that sometimes slip under the radar. Which reminds us: The Libertine, Amsterdam Bar and Three Sheets really are some of our favorite Monday night spots.
Fancy Monday at The Libertine
If nothing else, we like to think our tastes are at least pretty diverse. Granted, we partied it up with jorts and well liquors last night, but we'll class things up a bit tonight and get all gussied up to sip (discounted) high-end cocktails.
Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at Theatre Three
Have you ever looked at a 20 dollar bill and wondered just who the hell this Andrew Jackson guy was — and why the heck he gets to have his face forever memorialized on our currency? Sure, you could just look it up on Wikipedia or something, but doesn't watching an irreverent musical seem a little more kickass?
Half-price pizza at Three Sheets
Between all the concerts, pool parties, and our own big shindig at The Double Wide last night, we're a little bit strapped for cash. But even if you laid low this past weekend, half-price pizza is always delicious nonetheless.
Badass Jazz at Amsterdam Bar
Badass Jazz night at Amsterdam is not really a secret or anything, but that's not to say it doesn't get overlooked from time to time. Even if you've been before, a slower night like tonight might be a good time to check it back out.
