Campo Modern Country Bistro's Beer Dinners Ain't Born Typical.
Throughout the rest of the week, there are plenty of outdoor-type events designed to take full advantage of the recent spell of nice weather we've been experiencing lately. But, as for tonight, the vibe all over the city seems to be pretty chill.
We've found a few cheap food events and the like, but for the most part it seems like today is a battery-charger for how much stuff is going on the rest of the week. For those looking for a nice opportunity to enjoy the temperate climes, think about hitting up a patio.
We hear Barcadia has a nice one.
Chimay shindig at Libertine Bar
Chimay's International Ambassador Luc “Bobo” Van Mechelen will be on hand at The Libertine tonight to talk about all things beer. Chimay White will be on tap.
Half-priced pizza at Sfuzzi
Almost every Yelp review about Sfuzzi seems to talk about how ridiculously good-looking everyone who eats there is, which is something.
The Phuss at La Grange
It's a pretty big week for The Phuss, with their new self-titled album coming out later this week along with a few dates opening for the Toadies. Hear some of their new disc, which was produced by Vaden Todd Lewis of the Toadies, tonight at La Grange.
Beer dinner at Campo Modern Country Bistro
Typically when you hear about beer dinners, it's a semi-pretentious affair where the fanciest beers are paired with some sort of upscale cuisine. While that may be true of the rest of Campo Modern's takes on the beer dinner, tonight's first course, we hear, is a pairing with a PBR, which immediately makes us loads more interested in it.
Half-priced food at Barcadia
After paying rent yesterday, we're finding ourselves wondering how the hell we're going to pay for meals until the next paycheck comes. Enter Barcadia's half-price food Mondays. The giant-sized Jenga and Connect Four games on their patio also make for some cheap entertainment as well.
