This Week Was All About The Music. And Basketball. And Parties.
No spiel this week. Just right into the most popular stories of the week. Come on, you know the drill by now.
• Everyone's in a reflective mood these days, right? Must be true. I mean, it's got to be. Without a doubt, it's the reason why our look back at our favorite albums of the year was our most popular story of the week. Only explanation, really. Our taste isn't that impeccable. Oh, it is? Rad.
• One of last year's big splashes had a good week in Dallas this week, too: 2011 breakouts Odd Future certainly lived up to the hype at their debut Dallas performance…
• …so much so, even, that their show's after-party affair featuring Trash Talk and hosted at DIY space Tapatio Studios was a big hit, too.
• Speaking of living up to hype: Our in-depth look at whether sophomore UNT basketballer Tony Mitchell can live up to the expectations surrounding his game was a popular read, too.
• Our final most-read story of the week — a set of photos from and look back at our Hometown Glory party last Saturday night at Club Dada — just makes our hearts all warm and fuzzy. You guys love us, huh? Yeah? Feeling's mutual!
OK then! Have a blast this weekend, y'all. It's looking like a good one, after all.
