The Organizer Behind The Infamous McKinney Pool Party Is Now Trying To Become A Model, Naturally.
If the story of the now-famous McKinney Pool Party, its breakup and its subsequent fallout is indeed the microcosm of American culture that it appears to be, then I suppose this was the only logical next step for the story: Per a CBS 11 report, the girl behind said pool party, 19-year-old Tatyana Rhodes, is now angling for a modeling career.
Well, maybe. Actually, it seems that was always kind of her goal, if this story is to be believed. Per that piece, the Dime Piece brand through which she promoted her party also promoted itself as boasting a roster of models, go figure.
Good on the Atlanta-based photographer behind the A.K.A. Tay Photography brand for putting two and two together, booking a flight to town and securing Rhodes for a photoshoot, the results of which can be seen below. Snuck right in under Rhodes' time in the news cycle, too.
While we don't know if Rhodes' modeling career has a future — or why a 19-year-old is throwing high school parties now that we think about it — we'd venture to say that the photographer, flashing this kind of enterprising spirit, just might.
