35 Denton Announces Initial 2013 Bill Featuring Sleep, Roky Erickson & More!
Winter's yet to arrive, but the folks behind the 35 Denton Festival, which in 2013 will take place on March 7, 8, 9 and 10, are already gearing up for the springtime.
Moments ago, the folks behind the event — and still somewhat freshly off of their sister Hot Wet Mess affair's successful debut — released a teaser video announcing the first 20 acts confirmed for the fifth rendition of their annual four-day bash. (See that clip at the end of this post.)
It's a nice start, to be sure, featuring stoner rock icons Sleep, psych rock forefather Roky Erickson, garage psych heroes King Khan & The Shrines, garage punks Reigning Sound and Thee Oh Sees, local rap hero Astronautalis, experimental favorites Black Moth Super Rainbow and more.
Early bird tickets to the festival are currently on sale and going for as low as $35 bucks for a four-day pass. You can get those here. Or, while your at it, consider the new-to-the-2013-festival four-day Fast Track pass, which is currently going for $100 and allows its owner priority line access.
