The World's Largest Vaping Competition Is Coming To The Bomb Factory.
Already in its short history, The Bomb Factory has played host to several killer concerts and other events, even coming to the rescue when this year's Homegrown Festival was threatened by storms. Needless to say, the venue's fast become a huge player in Deep Ellum — a cornerstone of the neighborhood, if you will.
But can any of those early affairs be considered the venue's quote-unquote signature event? Have any of them truly fulfilled the venue's purpose? Have the joint's owners looked at each other at the end of the night, exchanging a knowing nod that this is the reason they dumped so much money into this place, that this made it all worthwhile?
Tough to say. But we do know this: That moment will almost certainly come to pass on Saturday, July 25, when The Bomb Factory plays host to Suicide Bunny's Vape Party Dallas. According to organizers, it's celebration and joint creation of “vape clouds as big and vast as the universe, with a competition so epic that only The Bomb Factory could contain it.”
Not just a run-of-the-mill vape competition, Bunny's Vape Party also purports to be the largest ever held in the world, with a $15,000 cash prize going to the smoking-cessation enthusiast that blows the most obnoxiously huge, longest-lasting column of fake smoke.
Yes, really. And just think of all the flavor juice you could buy with that much cash!
To be fair, none of this should come as a surprise to anyone at this point. It's been known for a while now, anyway, that North Texas has long been the competitive vaping capital of the world.
Doesn't that, in and of itself, make us all winners already?
