On the one hand, you have to respect Neon Trees. The band has absolutely zero shame in their game.

Their two biggest songs, after all, have been prominently featured in TV commercials — “Animal” in an ad for Las Vegas and “Everybody Talks” in a spot for Buick.

So, in as literal a sense as possible, yeah, these guys are a commercially successful entity. Perhaps as much as any other band cracking the modern rock radio circuit in recent memory. No surprise, then, that they and opening act Penguin Prison drew a decent crowd out to the House of Blues for their gigs there last night.
