After All The Hype About The Band’s Reunion At Homegrown, Tripping Daisy Will Play An Intimate Warm-Up Gig Two Nights Earlier At Club Dada.
If you simply cannot wait until next Saturday’s Homegrown Music & Arts Festival to see a reunited Tripping Daisy take the stage after 17 while years away, consider yourself in luck.
In a surprise statement late on Thursday, the band announced that, before the big reunion show it has long scheduled to take place at on May 13 Homegrown, it will be playing a warm-up show in the far-more-intimate confines of Club Dada on Thursday, May 11.
There, the band will be joined on the bill by the much-adored Denton glitter-rockers in Pearl Earl, who coincidentally just released some new music this week.
It should be quite the scene — and one that’s closer to what the rest of Texas will get when Tripping Daisy tours the state following its Homegrown appearance. So that’s a nice perk of the announcement.
Tickets are $50 a pop, and some are still available somehow. Get yours here before they’re gone.
