Kanye West & Kendrick Lamar Are Playing The AAC In December. (Oh, and Jay-Z, Too.)
Just like that, with a 6 a.m.Tweet as straightforward and as stripped back as the album artwork for his June-released Yeezus album, Kanye West revealed his plans to embark on his first solo tour since 2008's Glow In The Dark Tour.
Better yet, he'll be bringing Kendrick Lamar along as his opener.
And, just as projections of the rapper's face on public buildings somehow caused a frenzy in cities all over America, this morning's Tweet — which just contained the word “TOUR” and a link to a starkly plain teaser poster — has already caused a stir all across the web in a matter of hours.
The best part, though? The tour, which kicks off October 20 in Vancouver, will be making its second-to-last stop here in Dallas at the American Airlines Center on December 6. No word yet on tickets.
But it'll be a big month for the American Airlines Center, that's for sure: Ye's arrival will come amidst a stacked month for the venue, which is also hosting Justin Timberlake on December 4, as well as Jay-Z, who also announced this morning that his Magna Carta Tour would make a stop at the AAC on December 21.
