Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, scientists have discovered a squirrel in California infected with the bubonic plague. You know, the same plague that wiped out 60 percent of the population in Europe in the 1300s.
Are you really all that likely to catch the black plague if you leave the house this week? It's highly doubtful. Even in California, there've only been four cases of the plague in the past 30 years, none of which were fatal.
Still, why not live to the fullest this week anyway?
