Get The Jump On Your 3/25 – 3/31 Plans.
Several week-long events should keep Dallas folk busy over the next several days: It's not only fashion week over at SMU, it's also Dallas Comedy Festival week over at the Dallas Comedy House and Savor Dallas, one of the city's most anticipated foodie events.
Other than that, music continues to take a back seat to strong food, art and fashion events as we suffer a bit of a SXSW hangover. That's not to say there's nothing worthwhile going on musically, however, as we are curious, in particular, to see how a band with the size and popularity of the Polyphonic Spree is able to manage a performance at the small-ish Dan's Silverleaf in Denton.

Hopefully, we're talking more King of Queens and less Zookeeper.
A whopping 31 bands perform on the Prophet Bar's three stages throughout the day. Yes, it's a lineup so big they had to use the word “Folkin'” as an adjective.
