Remember all those robot combat shows that took over television in the late '90s? It looks like they might be on their way back. Next spring the Robotics Society of America wants to replicate the success of shows like Battlebots, Robot Wars and Robotica by bringing its decade-old RoboGames competition to the masses with a planned 50-plus episode web series.
Unfortunately, the program isn't set to premiere until the spring of 2015. No worries, there are lots of things going on in our fair burgh to keep you occupied until then, a few of which we've laid out below. — Cory Graves
