Before you start prepping for you upcoming holiday-shortened workweek, you might as well have a good goal in mind. So let's say we all try to make one new friend this week? Strike up a conversation with a stranger — maybe somebody you wouldn't have otherwise given a second thought or ever approached. Or, perhaps, hit up a locale to which you've never before been.

Who knows? You may just make a lifelong pal.

It worked well for this lion, tiger and bear, anyway. After being rescued from a drug dealer's basement 13 years ago, these three have remained inseparable ever since.
