In this space, we almost always feed you with a line about how there's so much going on tonight when you live in a place like Dallas. This usually comes after we post some sort of cat video or other non sequitur.

Well, on a night like New Year's Eve, this is especially true. And to that end, we've already hipped you to 63 ways to spend the evening. I guess you could say we already blew our load in that regard.

Oh well. At least it gives us one more opportunity to remind you to be safe out there tonight. It pretty much goes without saying, but it's always wise — especially on drinker's holidays such as this — to designate a driver, call an Uber, crash on a friend's couch, or do whatever else you've got to do to stay out of harm's way.
