Tune Squad Up.
Don’t have time to go to all the awesome events you’d like? It’s now easier than ever to be in two places at once, thanks to Fat Head’s custom life-size cardboard cutouts.
A guy in Nashville recently gave one to his mom, who was able to take him all over town, in spite of the fact that he was physically living in Europe at the time.
Where all will go? Depends on how many you buy, I guess. You’ll need several to make it to everything going on around town tonight, though. — Cory Graves
Napalm Death at Trees
Napalm Death is an extreme metal band from England. Considered pioneers of #grindcore, they’ve been playing for more than 30 years now and released their sixteenth album last year. Melvins is a sludge metal band that has been around for about as long as Napalm Death, whom they have collaborated with several times with in the past. Melt Banana opens. — PW
Space Jam at Alamo Drafthouse (Richardson)
OK, so yeah, this isn’t technially a good movie. But come on, you watched this all of the time when you were a kid, and it was fucking awesome. Come and revel in childhood nostalgia and watch Michael Jordan and Billy Murray play basketball with Bugs Bunny. — PW
Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ Unspoken Word Tour at Hyena’s (Dallas)
If you’ve never heard Jake Roberts talk before, you’re in for a treat. Roberts is a master storyteller and considered one of the best talkers in wrestling history. His life story is one of the most captivating of any wrestler, from stories of being on the road in the ’80s, to his struggles with drug addiction and alcoholism for decades, to finally recovery and rehabilitation, he has an inspiring story that anyone would be touched by. — PW
David Lindley at Kessler Theater

Joe Versus the Volcano at Alamo Drafthouse (Dallas)
Joe Versus the Volcano is the first of the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan Trilogy, and definitely the most fantastic. Joe (Hanks) has been toiling away in a dismal factory job for years until one day he is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Suddenly, he has found a new purpose, and guess what that is. Yup, to travel to a distant tropical island and jump into a volcano. Sounds silly, but it really is a sweet romantic comedy/adventure. The movie also stars Nathan Lane, Lloyd Bridges and Abe Vigoda. — Roberto Aguilar
Teen Wolf at Sundown (Free)
Much like Space Jam, Teen Wolf continues the trend of schlocky movies from our youth. Except this one is free and there’s gonna be half-price Whiskey. — PW
