Get Thunderstruck at the House of Blues.
As a born and raised Mavericks fan, I was programmed hate the San Antonio Spurs. And yet at the same time, as a human being, I just can't force myself to root for the Miami Heat.
So, like much of the rest of Mavs Nations, there I was last night, cheering on the Spurs in Game Six of the NBA Finals. And for what? In what was admittedly a thrilling game, our fellow Texans lost in overtime, giving the Heat one more chance to win the whole shebang in Thursday's Game Seven.
As we impatiently wait that game's start so we can root on our fellow Texans — difficult a pill as that may be to swallow — here are some distractions for your night.Â
Oh, and happy Juneteenth!
