Prepare For Destruction.

About four years ago, a good-natured four-year-old girl in Seattle began befriending the murder of crows that frequented her backyard, going out of her way to feed them things like dog food and peanuts. Eventually, the birds began responding in-kind, bringing the little girl small tokens of appreciation — things like screws, dog tags, earrings and whatever other shiny things they found lying around and deemed of value.

It's pretty remarkable, and kind of heartwarming, too. As shitty as people so often seem to treat the world around them, it's refreshing to think that, at our core, there's still some good in most of us. Keep that in mind as you head out into the world this evening, as you never know in what ways karma will choose to return the favor.

Speaking of heading out, here's a few places you might end up if you play your cards right. — Cory Graves

Destruction Unit, Mind Spiders at Three Links
Co-founded by Jay Reatard in the early 2000s, Destruction Unit is a band of fellas that hail from the deserts of Arizona. The self-proclaimed “trans-radical psychedelic” outfit is known for being equal parts mesmerizing and terrorizing. Mind Spiders opens this killer Tuesday two-fer. — Lauren Rushing

Spring Breakers at Alamo Drafthouse
Now that most schools in the area are currently on spring break, it makes for perfect timing to bring the controversial Harmony Korine film back to the big screen. The James Franco, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson vehicle might not make too much sense, but it'll definitely get you in the spirit. Spring break forever! — LR

Three-Year Anniversary at Oak Street Drafthouse
Oak St. Drafthouse is one of the most unique bars in Denton. It has a great, homey atmosphere, as it's in a house and it has a fantastic outside patio. Also, you can play Cards Against Humanity or a truth-or-dare version of Jenga while you enjoy one of the over-70 beers they have on tap. In fact, Oak St. Drafthouse has such a good selection of craft beers that it earned the bar a spot on Dallas Morning News' list of the 12 best places to get craft beer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. So, anyway, you should definitely head out to Denton to celebrate their three-year anniversary. In addition to the already-large selection of beers they normally have, they will serve several one-time tappings for the event. — Carly Seitz

Heaven's Gate at The Magnolia
Not a film about the famous suicide cult, Heaven's Gate is a lavish western loosely based on story of Wyoming's infamous Johnson County War — a brutal conflict during which wealthy cattlemen, backed by the U.S. government, hired mercenaries to murder 125 immigrant settlers. The 1980 film is packed with action and heart, and boasts an all star cast features such A-listers as Kris Kristofferson, Christopher Walken, Jeff Bridges, Sam Waterston, Mickey Rourke and Willem Dafoe in his first-ever film role. The show begins 7:30 p.m. — LR
