Welcome Your Queen To The AAC, Little Monsters.
This Tuesday's an exciting one. For starters, pop goddess Lady Gaga gracing us with her presence. Can't score tickets to that, or just aren't really into Madonna 2.0? No worries, there's plenty more to do.
For starters, you can check out Texas Christian University alum Mark Lettieri at Rubber Gloves up in the Lil' D. Or you can rapper Wale rap about Seinfeld at the House of Blues. Or you can remember that band that did that one song over at Trees. Or you can watch a music documentary at the good ol' Texas Theater. Or a really crappy movie at The Grotto.
The choice is yours.

Lady Gaga at The American Airlines Center

The fan base is fervent: Little Monsters were already camping out in front of the American Airlines Center yesterday with their paws up, hoping to score the best seats. Yes, the Born This Way Ball is sure to have all the usual Haus of Gaga bells and whistles, which means a batshit crazy performance from the one and only Stephanie Germanotta. Par for course, really.
Mark Lettieri Group at Dan's Silver Leaf
Mark Lettieri has an extensive resume. As a member of the Symbolyc One-headed production team, Team SKP, his guitar licks have been featured on songs from 50 Cent, Talib Kweli and Slim Thug. He's also performed with Erykah Badu, Fred Hammond and Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest. So, yeah, dude's legit.
Beware of Mr. Baker at The Texas Theater
The subject of this documentary is Ginger Baker, who discovered Fela Kuti while on a trip in Nigeria. His problems with addiction are explored, as is his move to South Africa. The film also includes interviews with guitar gods Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton, so maybe bring your dad along.

Wale at The House of Blues
Wale Florian has come a long way since his days releasing mixtapes about his favorite TV show, Seinfeld. But any Wale fan will tell you that those are where his best bars come from. The good news? His next studio release is slated to rehash that theme — with contributions from Jerry Seinfeld himself, reportedly.

The Wondercrust Movie Watchers Club present Teenagers From Outer Space at The Grotto
You'll play drinking games and get complimentary popcorn at The Grotto for this screening of Teenagers From Outer Space.

Trapt at Trees
Eleven years after their breakthrough single, “Headstrong,” these dudes are still at it. Guess they really meant what they were saying with that one.
