Move Like Jagger at the AAC.
On this date — March 21 in 1963 — the infamous Alcatraz prison located in the San Francisco Bay was emptied of its last inmates. Tomorrow, you’ll have the pleasure of emptying yourself from the prison of the workweek.
Thursday night, as always, is your homestretch. And, hey, start the weekend up early, if you're feeling up to it.
If you get too rowdy, well, that's why sick days were invented.
Maroon 5 at the American Airlines Center
Do you want to move like Jagger to the point that it might get harder and harder to breathe? Then, the American Airlines Center is the place to be tonight. Owl City and Neon Trees join Maroon 5 on this bill, which promises a night filled with shiny pop. Remember: When it comes to this type of music, it doesn’t matter ‘bout the car you drive or what you wear around your neck. All that matters is that you recognize that it's just about respect.
Seryn at UNT Murchison Center
This six-piece saccharine folk outfit calls Denton home, and they’ve got a full array of instruments at their disposal — guitars, ukulele, accordion, bass, viola, banjo and a bunch of percussion instruments. Head to the Murchison Center to check out some mellow tunes from the band before they hit the road in April.
EOTO at Trees
No, that’s not the sound of Optimus Prime having a heat stroke during a laser fight. It’s the Boulder, Colorado-based electronic band EOTO. This is pretty much going to be an all-out dance fest here tonight. Wanna shed some weight?
