Before They Hit The Road, Catch Centro-Matic at Dan's Silverleaf.
You've only got one more day to go until Friday, you guys. Embrace this fact. Celebrate it.
With what, you ask? Ah.
Well, as usual, the Texas Theater is showing a classic movie. There's also a free show to catch at Sundown at The Granada. There's a charity event for Dallas children going down in Addison, too. Also, local band will hit Dan's, a local brand will let you behind the scenes and there's some good ol' stand up comedy to catch, too.
Reward yourself, Dallas. Only one more day till the weekend.
Centro-matic at Dan's Silverleaf
There probably isn't a better place in North Texas for seeing alternative country music than Dan's Silverleaf. The place just screams awesome Texas-ness as soon as you walk in the door. Tonight, Centro-matic will be stopping by. Then they'll be headed to Fort Worth on Saturday before heading on the road for a tour. Catch them before they're gone.
Goodfellas at The Texas Theater
This is the story of Henry Hill, one of the most badass gangsters of all time. As far back as he could remember, he always wanted to be a one. He's pretty much the embodiment of “thug life.” Peep the legendary Copacabana scene in all of its innovative Steadicam glory on the big screen tonight.
Celebrity Bartender Night at Back 9
To support Dallas Children's Charities, Back 9 in Addison will be having its first annual celebrity bartender night. Oliver Peck from Ink Master, Clint Barlow from Trees, Mike Luce from Drowning Pool and two-time gold medal-winning X Games skater Jaren Grobare are among the celebrities that will be working the bar. The philanthropist in you will bring you there; the party animal in you will keep you there.

Discipline at Rubber Gloves Recording Studios
Experimental, underground music reigns supreme at Rubber Gloves tonight. That means no wave, goth rock, post-industrial and so on and so forth. Apparently there are “no humans allowed.” But who's supposed to take advantage of the $1 wells and $1.50 PBR and Miller High Lifes then?

Trebuchet & Friends at Sundown at The Granada
Wait, there's no cover? Yeah, you want to go to there. Especially when Denton's Trebuchet will be supplying their self-titled “humble-elitist” sensibilities. They've been described as shoegaze, jazzy and blues.
Greg Fitzsimmons at Addison Improv
Why did the chicken cross the road? To see Greg Fitzsimmons at Addison Improv. Rest assured: The guy who's had his set on virtually every late night show will be telling way funnier jokes than that one, promise.
Phantasm at the Basement
DJ Niro will supply the music here as you browse acrylic artwork and photographs from Dallas' own migL Barajas, Penny Kim and Rondo Estrello. Oh, and the Easy Slider truck will be parked outside. So come hungry.
An Evening with Fur Face Boy at The Public Trust
Area T-shirt designer extraordinaire Fur Face Boy will set up shop tonight at The Public Trust in Deep Ellum, talking about his brand, how he got it to succeed and how, yes, even you can win in the T-shirt biz. I mean, everyone wears T-shirts, right?
