Don't Change.

Earlier this week, a woman stirred up the Internet with a single tweet about her earrings.

Only after 19 years did she realize that the little plastic things that come on the backs of earrings are meant to come off? Or are they? That debate's a whole separate viral shit storm.

Either way, it's important to stop every now and then and consider what other basic things we've been doing wrong our whole lives. It's more than we're aware of, we're sure.

The one thing you can be absolutely sure you're doing right is finding some quality action tonight. Just let the following list be your guide. — Cory Graves

Man or Astro-Man?, Turbo Fruits at Dada
Man or Astro-Man? has a different sound. It's hard to describe, but let's give it a shot, anyway. Does “extraterrestrial electronic rock” work? Sure, I think so. But, hey, if that doesn't sound too interesting to you, maybe the fact that the band tours with high-voltage Tesla coils spewing lightning bolts at their crowds will. Or, perhaps, the fact that rowdy Tennessee punks Turbo Fruits are also on the bill, maybe? — Erika Lambreton

Coliseum at Three Links
Punk-noir band Coliseum's latest album Anxiety's Kiss embraces perhaps a bit more melodic tracks than the band's past albums. The outfit's continually progressed its sound, but without sacrificing their ethics or quality. Catch them tonight with Pinkish Black and the Me-Thinks. — DV

Plays of Question at Margo Jones Theatre
Miller Pyke and Kasey Tackett have written two different plays — Bed Frames and Said and Done, respectively. The first touches on what it's like to have dreams and aspirations while in a relationship. Is it possible to achieve them while attached to someone? The second shows the story of a single atom, existing after humanity and all other animals fade out. He tries to find purpose, while showing the audience what it once was to be human. And thanks to a recent crowd-funding effort, you can catch both for free this evening with a simple RSVP here. — Diamond Victoria

“Urban Biking” at J. Erik Jonsson Central Library (Free)
Starting out as a cyclist in Dallas can be a bit frightening. Dallas drivers are known to be kinda dick-ish in that regard. But, if you want to start biking the streets of DFW, you might want to hit up this talk, where you cab participate in some Q and As with local, experienced cyclists, and discover where the safest and best places to ride are. — DV

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly at Texas Theatre
Clint Eastwood stars in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, playing today at Texas Theatre. I suppose they want to remind you how badass classic spaghetti westerns are. And you know you heard that little whistle-y theme song as soon as you read the title. — DV

Hip-Hop Karaoke at Crown and Harp (Free)
Always wanted to sing along to Master P's “Make 'Em Say Uhh!” but never been certain where in public you could pull off such a feat? Head on over to the Crown and Harp's downstairs venue tonight for your chance to sing (or rap, as it were) to your heart's desires. Meanwhile, upstairs, DJ Niro will be holding things down with a Wu Tang tribute night. Crown and Harp ain't nothing to fuck with tonight. — EL
