Honk If You Like Mondays.
As frequently as we give smartphones a hard time in these “things to do” posts for overly distracting us from appreciating the world around us, we sometimes must admit they are not all bad. Sometimes, they can be a real life saver.
In the case of one 25-year-old British man, that's very literally true, as his iPhone stopped a shotgun blast that likely would have killed him.
As it turns out, those things are good for other stuff as well, like finding a few ways to spice up your Monday. — Cory Graves

Memorial Day Honk at BrainDead Brewing
If three-day weekends are perfect for anything it's day drinking. At BrainDead they spice up the concept with a drinking game of sorts. It's a pretty simple one, too. They put up signs encouraging passersby to honk their horns, and when they do you drink. Honestly, though, you don't really need an excuse to drink BrainDead's housemade brews in excess; they're actually pretty damn good on their own. — CG
