Go On An Adventure.
Last night, Ellen DeGeneres' Oscars selfie became the most re-tweeted tweet ever to have been tweeted on the Twitters.
So you can all stop now. Selfies are officially over. The pinnacle has been reached and there's no point even trying anymore.
On the plus side, though, you're going to be a lot more present and a lot less distracted when you're out and about tonight.
And that, my friends, is living.
Paranoid Fan Meet-Up at Twilite Lounge
In addition to the opportunity to meet and greet ESPN's Grantland contributor Bryan Curtis tonight, your $25 cover will get you free booze and tacos as well at this one. Not too shabby — especially considering how solid these intimate, sports-centric meet-ups have been in previous months. Anyway, The Ticket's midday show hosts, Bob and Dan will be hosting a remote broadcast of their program from the bar as a lead-up to the event, too. — Cory Graves
Drank and Drawl at Mudsmith
Finally, the opportunity to hole up and sketch in a coffee shop without fear of embodying a stereotype. For once, there'll be a whole heck of a lot of like-minded doodlers to keep you company. — CG
Band-Aid Drive at Oak Street Drafthouse
It's no secret that some post-work brews is generally one of the better cures for that whole “case of the Mondays” thing. You'll probably feel even better about things if you go ahead and donate some kid-friendly Band-Aids to the John Hopkins Children's Cancer Center, too. In addition to your boxes, the craft beer-loving Denton hangout will also be donating a portion of today's bar sales to the cause. — CG
The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou at Alamo Drafthouse
Leading up to the release of Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel this Friday, the folks at Alamo will be showing the director's past work every single day this week. Tonight, they're digging out 2004's The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. — CG
