Wocka Wocka Chris Jericho's At Good Records!
“Thank God It's Monday” is probably something nobody has said in the history of ever. No one's ever named a chain of flair-mongering restaurants or blocks of primetime television programming after the T.G.I.M. acronym.
But, whether you are looking for something to do tonight to help with your post-yacht rock party hangover or just to cheer you up because you were the only one of your friends who didn't make it out to Dada last night, the good news is that you've got options.
Geeks Who Drink pub quiz at Texas Theatre
The last two weeks in a row, there have been fewer than three teams competing in Texas Theatre's weekly pub quiz. In other words: If the trend continues tonight, you can “win” a bar tab just by showing up.
Chris Jericho at Good Records
It's OK if you can't wait until tomorrow to grab the new Fozzy record, Sin and Bones. The good news is that, since the WWE is in town tonight (more on that later), lead singer/professional wrestler Chris Jericho will be at Good Records at midnight, signing copies of the album for all the adoring fans that've surely been camped out in front of the store for a week. What we like most about Jericho is his ability to continuously find jobs that don't require him to wear a shirt. Kudos to you, Y2J!
WWE Raw at American Airlines Center
It's been over a decade since we've been avid watchers of “professional” wrestling (we just couldn't hang after the “F” became an “E”), so we thought we'd check up on it in order to give you guys a preview of what is going down on tonight's episode of Raw. Here goes: Apparently there's now a hip-hop-loving Marky Mark clone and a straight edge wrestler, and both of them are upset with a much larger wrestler who is just called The Big Show. For whatever reason, though, we just can't buy into the idea of a straight edge wrestler. Can't we just go back to the good old days when it was all drill sergeants, sheikhs and mystical warriors from parts unknown?

Enough said.
