The blog fivethirtyeight did a detailed, scientific examination of exactly how accurate those lucky numbers and fortunes really are and found that most of fortunes from the cookies actually not very predictive.
Most of them focus on tidbits of advice for “you” and less than a quarter actually make any kind of prediction. Oh, and those lucky numbers aren’t very lucky. Who’d have guessed that, huh?
