Eat, Drink & Party At DTX4HTX Fundraisers All Over Dallas, Slide With Goo Goo Dolls And Celebrate 25 Years Of Independent Filmmaking With KERA.
The water that Hurricane Harvey dumped on Houston and the surrounding south Texas region may have receded, but the destruction of property remains. Our friends in the affected areas now face the unenviable task of rebuilding and restarting their lives.
But today is the day when we can make a difference all the way from and all around Dallas. As you may or may not know, we have organized a city-wide day of action today and more than 100 area businesses have signed up to donate 20 percent or more of proceeds from the day to Trusted World and CORE Gives, two area nonprofits working to help people affected by the storm.
So if you’re looking to do some good simply by going out and having a good time, we’ve got you covered. We also have you covered if you’re looking for other ways spend your hump day.
