As part of the Guide to Summer package we've been rolling out on the site of late, we asked a number of the city's top DJs to shoot us some summer-themed mixes. These days, however, Feezy's switching things up. Namely, he's not going by Feezy any more. Instead, he's going by a new moniker, TXTXTX, and gearing up for a new venture: This summer, he'll be manning the decks as the resident DJ at the soon-to-open Knox Street spot, Monroe.
To help whet our palates for that coming residency and, well, just to get us into the mood for summer overall, we asked TXTXTX to supply us tell us what summer means to him.
His response?
“For the summer, one can only hope for the best in hangovers, champagne and sun-drenching, while wasting time at the pool with the latest in summer tunes and classic jams.”
