Mosquito Steve Loves Mosquitoes So Much, He Pushes Them Away — Naturally, Of Course.

Welcome The Makers, in which our video crew highlights the people behind some of the most interesting things going on around the region.

Anybody crazy enough to get bitten by 900 mosquitoes in a day — and on purpose, no less — is someone we're pretty likely to admire around these parts. And, yeah, that's certainly the case with Mosquito Steve (real name: Steve Moore), the Dallas inventor who subjected himself to that very and quite gnarly feast in order to come up with his own all-natural mosquito repellent — a product that he now swears is better and safer than anything else on the market.

But, well, is it? We recently visited Mosquito Steve to learn more about his repellent and his crazy love for mosquitoes — and, of course, to see for ourselves if his repellent is any good.
