The old lady and I are just back from a week's vacation in Los Angeles, where we saw a bunch of movies, the best of which was Dope.
Right from the start, though, Megan and I have pretty different takes on the film: I was into the aspirational parts of it; she was struck by the lack of outside support for said aspirations. We debate that some, but we mostly agree on what does and doesn't work for the film in the end.
Also, the movie got me thinking about guns. So that's in there, too.
