The idea for this particular episode came up while watching this past season of Silicon Valley. In that show, a character references pulling off an Ocean’s 11-like ploy. It was a cool moment, and one that my It’s Just Banter co-host Jake Kemp and I talked about excitedly on that podcast.

Here, Jake joins me on the movie pod for a deep dive into the film that inspired that great TV moment. Why? Because it’s a phenomenal film! And because it doesn’t try to be anything more than the cool heist movie it is!

Like everyone else who has seen it, we love this movie. It’s one of the most nearly perfect movies out there. There’s a reason they play it on TNT a lot.
