Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like Suicide Squad has gotten more negative press than the average comic book movie, even though it’s pretty much exactly like the rest of these kinds of movies that get released.

No, really! For about two-thirds of this one, there’s actually a pretty a decent movie going on. There are some interesting plot lines. The pace is quick enough. The aesthetic is pretty cool.

I mean, sure, it does all pretty much fall apart and die a slow death for the last 30 or 45 minutes. But so do all of these movies! Honestly, a two-thirds decent film is better than most of these movies can manage.

So let’s talk about the hate surrounding this film then, yeah?
