Now, this is the kind of movie I want to see when I head to the theater.
The Nice Guys, from writer and director Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), features a multi-level plot that moves things along briskly and boasts loads of sharp dialogue. It's also an incredible platform for the talents of its stars, Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe.
Is it for everyone? Probably not. But my co-hosts this week — Jaret Reddick and Rich Coleman of the Jaret Goes To The Movies podcast — and I loved it. (You may also know Jaret from his role as the vocalist in the band Bowling For Soup.)
We all had a lot of fun talking about it. Here's hoping you enjoy listening, too.
