I've been looking to get my friend and co-worker at The Ticket, Dan McDowell, onto this here movie podcast ever since I started doing it. So it's pretty cool that I was able to convince him and his singular mind to join me on the 50th episode of the series for a discussion about the new science fiction film, Midnight Special.

Like me, Dan was intrigued by the film's trailer. But did the film meet our expectations? Depends who you ask. One thing's for sure: The subjects adjacent to the film — like parallel universes — are incredibly interesting.
