My friend Ryan does some great work as the co-host of the fighting hypotheticals podcast Below The Belt, which I suppose makes him as qualified as anyone to join me for a chat about the 1995 film Mortal Kombat.
Let’s be frank: This movie is trash — but maybe not in the worst way. It lends itself to decent conversation, at least.
To that end, we break down the film’s fights a little, try to identify the best fighter in the group and talk some e-sports in general.
