People talk a lot of shit about Adam Sandler movies in general, but Punch-Drunk Love is actually a really well done movie with a lot of thought behind it — and I think most people who've seen it can agree on that.
That's what makes it a really good candidate for revisiting in a setting like this.
Personally, I really like the movie's world view. I think it's very frank about how inhospitable life can be, but it isn't so wrapped up in that idea that it blocks out the positive things about our lives. In fact, I'd say it searches for those things and celebrates them.
