Talking Age of Ultron and What The General Public Expects From Blockbusters These Days.

Earlier this week, we here at Central Track kicked off a new podcasting initiative with the launch of our new content partnership with TC Fleming and Jake Kemp's It's Just Banter podcast. Today, we happily welcome an offshoot of that same brand to our growing podcasting fold with the debut episode of Fleming's oh-so-fittingly-named TC's Movie Podcast. Spoiler alert: This week, guest co-host Jake Kemp and I just come out and acknowledge how less-than-impressed we were with Avengers: Age of Ultron — and, just maybe, blockbuster fight scenes in general.

From there, we openly ponder why people even see these films in the first place. Or, well, Jake does. As for me? I try my best to provide him with a few rationalizations. It's an uphill battle, even though Jake has been taking in more popular culture of late and has recently become hooked on Game of Thrones. His argument essentially boils down to the fact that this is not that. And he even has a fairly compelling argument as to why.

Damn him.
