Spune Announces Deer Tick, Justin Townes Earle, Sarah Jaffe and Tennis for Untapped Fort Worth.

The festival news is coming fast and hard today: Moments after 35 Denton announced its latest round of additions for its four-day, March 2013 affair, the folks at Spune Productions went ahead and announced some major coups of their own.

Branching off from their successful Dallas beer-and-music affair from this past September, Untapped: Fort Worth will stand as the spring-held, Panther Island Pavilion-hosted version of the same deal. There will be beer — no number has been announced yet, but there were more than 100 taps at the Dallas version — and there will be bands. The whole thing will go down on Saturday, April 20. Yes, that's 4/20.

(Stop snickering, stoners. As noted above, this event's not for your kind. Well, not necessarily.)

Anyway, we do at least know some of the bands coming to the Fort Worth version of Untapped, and it's a nice start, to be sure: Alt-country rockers Deer Tick, alt-country crooner Justin Townes Earle, local folk-cum-electronica darling Sarah Jaffe and adorable indie poppers Tennis have all been confirmed to perform. It's a safe bet that we can expect more names to be added in the coming weeks and months, too.

Tickets to the affair go on sale to the public on Thursday, and will run $58 for a VIP pass, $30 for concert and beer access and $22 if all you want is to take in the show. Starting at noon tomorrow, though, you can get your tickets here as part of the pre-sale, wherein all ticket purchases are 15 percent off.

So, y'know, step to it, I guess.
