Dude Perfect Came to Dallas and Filmed The Most Ridiculous Bowling Shots You've Ever Seen.
When YouTube veterans Dude Perfect make a video, the sports world takes notice.
That's because, unlike the hundreds of other YouTube users posting trick shot videos to the site, the Texas-based outfit — whose motto is “Do It Big” — always seems to display more flair than its competition, be it through successfully dropping basketballs from low-flying planes on the ground below or, as the crew did back in December, chunking balls from Reunion Tower's observation deck into basketball nets below.
Now, five years into its existence, though the group has pulled off maybe the biggest feat of its career: They've made bowling seem like the most exciting sport on the planet.
In the group's most recent video, which was shot in town at USA Bowl Dallas and Allen Edge Skate Park, Dude Perfect teams up with the world's top bowler, Australia's Jason Belmonte, to make some truly epic shots. Now, granted, there's no telling how many times Belmonte had to toss balls down various skate ramps to achieve strike after strike as he does in the below clip, but there's no denying that the end results are well worth the effort.
For his part, the 30-year-old Belmonte is no stranger to viral videos. He's bowled 62 perfect games in his career, the most recent of which came back in December when he also became the first professional athlete to wear Google Glass during an official competition.
Anyway, give the clip a watch below. And try not to lose your lunch when the Belmonte curves his bowls right around the heads of Dude Perfect's daring, lying-down-in-his-path team.
