Vogue International Editor at Large Hamish Bowles Popped Into Forty Five Ten Last Night.
Attention fashion folks and Vogue devotees: Hamish Bowles was in town last night.
Who? Hamish Bowles?
Come on now. If you haven't been hiding under a fashion rock in the last 20 years, you know his work. After starting as Vogue's style editor in '92, Bowles is now international editor at large for Vogue's fashion and interior design aspects. And to celebrate the release of the new book Vogue: The Editor's Eye (for which Bowles wrote the introduction), Uptown fashion retailer Forty Five Ten invited the Brit to town for a book signing and, of course, a stylish party.
As attendees sipped on specialty drinks (including one appropriately named “The Hamish”), many waited patiently in line to get their books signed by the man himself. And, as with all Forty Five Ten bashes, these attendees where stylishly dressed head to toe.
