It was floor-length, so I cut it in half and added the bottom to the waist. It's two-tiered now. The ring on my left hand is an uncut ruby ring from Iraq. My sister brought it home for me after a deployment. The one on my right hand was in a bulk of turquoise rings from a junk store. My necklace is from an ex-boyfriend from years ago. No idea where he got it. The shorter necklace is my Saint Christopher. My sister gave to me when I enlisted into the Army, for protection.”
