Trixie or Zombie Dog?
Each week, we team up with our friends at The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas (SPCA of Texas) to showcase a different animal that's in need of a loving home. We'll check out the animal, learn about its personality, do a short “interview,” take some cute pictures and report back to you on our findings. If any of the animals shown are to your liking, remember: They need loving homes free from abuse. If that sounds like your home, help them out.
This week, we met up with Trixie, a catahoula mix puppy who is only two months old. She's currently up for adoption at the SPCA of Texas (2400 Lone Star Drive; 214-742-7722).
Oh my god! You are so cute! Wait! What? Are you nibbling on me? Hey, I know you're young, but it's not polite to bite!
Sorry! I just… crave human flesh.
Um, what?
I think I'm a zombie.
That's ridiculous. You're absolutely normal. Plus, zombies don't exist.
You don't know if they exist or not! Do you have any proof against it? Plus, how do you explain me having a constant desire to bite people?
Well, you're a puppy. Puppies generally like biting things. It's pretty normal behavior, actually.
Huh. I guess that makes sense. I guess I'm not a zombie after all. I'll just get back to gnawing on your arm, then…
No!
No?
No!
OK….
Let's just wrap this up.Can you describe yourself in a couple of words for our readers?
I'm playful and determined. Determined to chew, that is!
