Bunny and Tinsel Are Cooking Up Something Cute.
Each week, we team up with our friends at The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas (SPCA of Texas) to showcase a different animal that's in need of a loving home. We'll check out the animal, learn about its personality, do a short “interview,” take some cute pictures and report back to you on our findings. If any of the animals shown are to your liking, remember: They need loving homes free from abuse. If that sounds like your home, help them out.
This week, we had a chat with Bunny, a one-year-old male miniature poodle mix, and Tinsel, a 10-month-old female chihuahua. The two are pair-bonded, which means that you have to adopt them together. But that's OK, because, seriously, how cute are these two together?
They're currently up for adoption at the SPCA of Texas (at 2400 Lone Star Drive; 214-742-7722).
Aw, look at you both! You're so precious!
Bunny: Excuse me?
Tinsel: Are you making fun of us?
Wait, what? No! That was a compliment!
Tinsel: I won't have you saying anything bad about Bunny!
Bunny: Yeah! Leave Tinsel alone!
But I was just tr-
Bunny: Save it. Weren't you sent here to interview us?
Yes. Well, yes. But most of my questions were aimed at remarking at how cute the both of you are…
Bunny: Why don't you ask us about something more worthwhile than our appearances? Like our personalities?
Um, OK. Why don't you tell me a little about yourselves?
Tinsel: Well, Bunny is really funny and smart, and he really likes cooking. He made me chicken cordon bleu for dinner last night. It was tasty!
That's nice, but I asked to describe yourselves, not-
Bunny: And Tinsel is so cool! And well-mannered! She likes good music, too. Right now she's been listening to some interesting progressive jazz.
I guess that's nice to hear, but-
Bunny: I love you Tinsel!
Tinsel: I love you Bunny!
That's so precious!
Tinsel: Hey! What did we say earlier, buddy?
I'm sorry! I can't help it. Maybe you could both describe yourselves this time? Just a few words, maybe?
Bunny and Tinsel (in unison): We're inseparable!
