Holly Golightly's a Model.
Each week, we team up with our friends at The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas (SPCA of Texas) to showcase a different animal that's in need of a loving home. We'll check out the animal, learn about its personality, do a short “interview,” take some cute pictures and report back to you on our findings. If any of the animals shown are to your liking, remember: They need loving homes free from abuse. If that sounds like your home, help them out.
This week, we sat down with Holly Golightly, a spry one-year-old pit bull mix. She's currently up for adoption at the SPCA of Texas (at 2400 Lone Star Drive; 214-742-7722).
Would you mind if I just called you “Holly”?
No, not at all. Most people call me Holly, actually. I usually only use my full name in the biz.
The biz?
Why, yes. Can't you tell? I'm a model. My full name sounds so much more exotic, and everyone likes a model with an exotic name.
Wow! You're a model? I have to say, your photos do look impressive.
Of of course they do! I am not the world's top pit-bull_mix model in the world for nothing.
That's a very specific niche in the modeling world you fulfill…
It's a pretty niche audience, too.
Well, all right then! OK, Holly, let's wrap this up. Care to offer up a few words about yourself for our readers?
Let's see. I guess I'd say my best features are my eyes and my cheek bones.
