Before Our Hometown Glory Bash, Jam Out To Our Exclusive DJ Sober Mix.
By now, you should already know about our Hometown Glory bash going down on Saturday, December 8, at Club Dada in Deep Ellum. It's going to be a time, featuring performances from Zhora, -topic and Neo-Safari, live art from Riley Holloway, Joonbug and Edward Ruiz, and fashion displays from local brands Loyal KNG, The Goodchild, Mid-Point and Mentally Ill.
You should, like, totally come hang out and dance or whatever, you guys. It's gonna rule.
(RSVP here! Buy tickets in advance here!)
Need more incentive? No problem. Also in the building at this affair is everyone's favorite local master of the 1s and 2s — the one and only DJ Sober — who'll be spinning tracks and getting the whole place jumping.
And to help get y'all ready for this affair, we've got quite the treat — a new, exclusive-to-Central Track mix that features a litany of bubbling-up hip-hop and dance tracks, but somehow also manages to maintain Sober's always-present old-school flair. It's 43 minutes of ecstasy, basically. Plus? It's got shout-outs from the likes of Nick Catchdubs, Chingo Bling and Sober's Booty Fade collaborator (more on that in the coming weeks) Picnictyme. Oh, and also? Sober will have hard copies of this mix up for grabs at our party, too.
So listen to the mix below. Download it, too, if you want (which you will). Grab full-scale, downloadable versions of the disc's awesome cover art from the always-on-point Dallas illustrator Mike Herrera right here (front) and right here (back).
Then, uh, I guess we'll see you in about a week and a half, yeah?
Sounds about right.
