Scenes From Last Night's Tobacco Show At Dada.

Compared to most musicians at his level, Tobacco is a relatively private person.

He rarely does interviews, and when he performed solo last night at Club Dada, the Black Moth Super Rainbow frontman did so behind a chest-high banner bearing his logo, with his head down and his ball cap pulled down low over his eyes.

Still, unlike the show going on across the street last night, Tobacco didn't need to rely on a ton of theatrics, backup dancers or the like to thrill the packed house at Dada. Hell, he barely had to show his face. His music did the heavy lifting, just as was the case for openers The Stargazer Lilies and New Fumes.

Photographer Karlo X. Ramos was on hand to document the proceedings last night. Here's what things looked like from his perspective.
